What actually happens
Ninety minutes, four parts.
Enough structure that nobody freezes, loose enough that it feels like a conversation rather than a lesson.
Warm up
We go round, everyone says how their week was. Low stakes, gets every voice in the room early — which is the whole trick.
The topic
One thing worth having an opinion about. Sent out a day ahead so you can think, not translate on the spot.
The phrases
I pull out the natural phrases you needed and didn’t have — the ones that would have made you sound like a native.
Free talk
The last stretch is yours. I stay quiet unless you want me, and note anything worth fixing for next week.
Honestly
What this is, and what it isn’t.
- Ten people maximum.Everyone speaks properly. In a class of thirty you’d say four sentences and go home.
- Correction that doesn’t sting.I don’t interrupt you mid-sentence. I note it and hand it back in a way you’ll remember.
- Any level from B1 upward.If you can hold a conversation, however slowly, you belong here.
- Cameras optional.Some weeks you don’t feel like being seen. That’s completely fine.
- Not a grammar class.If you want the rules explained systematically, book a one-to-one lesson instead — this isn’t that.
- Not a place to sit silently.You don’t have to be fluent, but you do have to talk. That’s the deal.
